The Community Healthy Marriage Initiatives (CHMI) Evaluation, 2003-2013

Led by RTI, the Community Healthy Marriage Initiatives (CHMI) Evaluation was conducted over 10 years and includes:

  1. Implementation evaluations of a set of family strengthening demonstrations authorized by the Office of Child Support Enforcement (OCSE).
  2. An implementation and impact evaluation of healthy marriage and relationship education services utilizing a matched community design to assess a range of family life measures at the community level.

The demonstration programs evaluated through this project provided healthy relationship and marriage education services for multiple segments of the community and utilized varied media strategies to increase awareness about their programs and mission.
