Robin is a senior researcher at Mathematica Policy Research. For the past 20 years, she has focused on the development, implementation and effects of social policy and programs on the well-being of low-income families, children and youth.

Robin currently directs a large-scale, multi-site rigorous evaluation of programs to strengthen fathers and families, the Parents and Children Together project, for the Administration for Children and Families (ACF) at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. She is also directing the Fatherhood and Marriage Local Evaluation and Cross-Site Analysis project, which will study the implementation and outcomes of the full range of responsible fatherhood and healthy marriage programs funded through ACF.

In prior work, Robin was principal investigator for the Building Strong Families project for which she led a comprehensive and longitudinal analysis of the implementation of eight family-strengthening programs for low-income unmarried couples with children. She recently concluded two studies of disadvantaged youth and youth aging out of foster care, which she led for ACF and the US Department of Housing and Urban Development.
