The National Survey of Family Growth (NSFG) data collection began in June 2011 and will continue through May 2019. These face-to-face intereviews will include questions on: family life, marriage and divorce, infertility, contraception and health. Approximately 40,000 male and female subjects, between the ages of 15-44, will be interviewed in English or Spanish. Data will be collected by computer-assisted personal interviewing and audio computer-assisted self-interviewing.
The survey results will be used by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services to plan health services and health education programs, and to conduct statistical studies of families, fertility and health. Please see here or here for more information.
