FRPN Research Measure: Fathers' Engagement (English and Spanish Versions Available)
Nov 2015 | Justin Dyer, Rebecca Kaufman, Natasha Cabrera, Jay Fagan and Jessica PearsonThe FRPN Father Engagement Scale is designed to assess fathers' engagement with their children at different ages. The measure was validated with a sample of fathers very similar to those served in U.S. responsible fatherhood programs. Detailed psychometric findings are available upon request (jfagan@temple.edu).
- The first version (English and Spanish) is designed for use with fathers with children who are between 1 month old and 1 year old.
- The second version (English and Spanish) is designed for use with fathers with children who are between 1 year, 1 month old and 6 years.
- The third version (English and Spanish) is designed for use with fathers with children who are between 6 years, 1 month old and 12 years old.
- The fourth version (English and Spanish) is designed for use with fathers with children who are between 12 years, 1 month old and 19 years old.
