The study interviewed subjects between the ages of 18 to 49 from six community sites: three demonstration communities and three comparision communities. The data collection plan for this evaluation involved baseline and follow up surveys, administered approximately 24 months apart.
The questionnaire collected data on topics such as: household composition, awareness of media messages, receipt of services, relationship status and attitudes, social ties, relationship quality, child well-being, respondent characteristics and background, spouse/partner characteristics and background, non-resident parent characteristics and background, household self-sufficiency and household observations. Survey data was collected through computer-assisted personal interviewing and computer-assisted telephone interviewing. The U.S. Administration for Children and Families funded this project.
Additional information about the data set is located here. Please see here for ICPSR's online tutorial for how to obtain restricted-use data.
