Working for Father Involvement: Notes from the National Fatherhood Leadership Council.
Mar 2019 | Marcus Stallworth.Abstract: This article highlights themes from an InstruMENtal workshop held in September 2017 in the Czech Republic that focused on strengthening engagement with fathers and exploring ways to better utilize male staff in the child welfare and social services fields. Common themes of father exclusion are discussed, as well as the launching of the National Fatherhood Leadership Council to be a resource for information-gathering and shared learning regarding best practice and implementation strategies for father engagement.
